Dear Aunt Maria,
What a lovely surprise! The blue scarf is soft, warm, and already my favorite thing to wear on cold mornings. I can’t wait to wear it when I see you next month.
Love, Emma
Dear Lena and Mark,
Thank you for the beautiful wine glasses, and for celebrating with us. We used them at our first dinner party as a married couple, and they made the whole table feel special.
With love and gratitude, Anna and David
Dear Priya and Tom,
Dinner on Saturday was a delight. The lasagna was delicious, and we haven’t laughed that much in ages. Next dinner is at our place!
Warmly, Jess
For the people who show up, help out, and keep you laughing.
Just a little note to say I appreciate you, more than you know. You’re always there when it counts.
You’re a gem! We’re so grateful you watered our plants while we were away. Everything is still green and blooming.
To the friend who’s always in my corner: thanks for every pep talk, every late-night call, and every laugh. I’m lucky to have you.
For a teacher, a coworker, or a manager.
Dear Ms. Carter,
You made learning fun for Leo this year. He now asks for “just one more chapter” every night, and we have your patience and kindness to thank for it.
Best wishes, the Nguyen family
Hi Chris,
I really appreciate you staying late to help me finish the quarterly report. I couldn’t have made the deadline without you. Coffee is on me this week.
Thanks again, Maya
Dear Sarah,
With sincere appreciation for your guidance this year. Your feedback helped me grow more than I expected, and I’m grateful to be on your team.
Best, Daniel
After a job interview, or for kindness during a hard time.
Dear Ms. Patel,
Thank you for meeting with me today. I enjoyed hearing about the team’s plans for the new booking app, and our conversation made me even more excited about the role. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards, Jordan Lee
Your kindness meant the world to us during a difficult time. We’ll never forget how you showed up for our family.
Heartfelt thanks for every meal, card, and kind word over the past few weeks. You held us up when we needed it most.

Writing tips
Give the capital T a clear cross stroke, then let Th move into the lowercase rhythm without closing up. Keep nk open enough to read, leave a natural space between the words, and let the capital Y begin the second word cleanly. For focused letter practice, see capital T and capital Y.
Compare these groups with the full greeting above. Connections vary by style; a pen lift after a capital can be natural. Decorative styles are best used as lettering references.
Note guide
A good thank you note is short, specific, and written by hand. Start with a cursive headline, then add three to five sentences in your everyday handwriting.
Send the note within two weeks if you can; for wedding gifts, up to three months is normal. For money, say what you plan to do with it rather than mentioning the amount. If your cursive joins feel uneven, read how to write in cursive or print one of the cursive practice sheets first.
FAQ
Print one on cardstock and write your note underneath, drop it into Canva, Google Docs, or Word as the front of a folded card, or send it as a picture with a thank-you text. Each card downloads at 2,400 pixels wide, which prints sharply up to about 8 inches across.
Yes. Click Customize under any card, type a line such as “Thank you, from Sam & Alex”, choose a style, and download the transparent PNG. Place it on your card template and print the whole set, then write each personal note by hand.
Choose the transparent PNG when the lettering goes on top of something else: a photo, coloured paper, a gift tag, or a sticker you print and cut out. Choose the PNG with background when you want the finished card exactly as shown.
Choose Printable practice in the preview above, pick portrait or landscape, then print or save the sheet as a PDF from the print dialog. Each line of your message prints first as a grey row to trace, then as blank rows to write on your own. Trace the headline two or three times, write it on the blank rows, and only then move to the card.
A fine felt-tip or gel pen around 0.5 mm suits the message inside; for a large Thank you headline, a brush pen or a fine-tip marker gives the thick and thin strokes cursive is known for. Test the pen on the back of the card or the envelope first: glossy and coated cards can smear, so give the ink a minute to dry.
